Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers)
What is a "Consignment Event"?
There are several types of Consignment.
L'il Angels Consignment Sale is a CONSIGNMENT EVENT. Our sale runs on a Bi-Annual basis in SPRING and FALL each year for 3 days only.
A Consignor is a person who chooses to sell their items with our sale event. Registration opens several weeks before our sale event weekend. Consignors register to consign with us, inventory their items, prepare those items for the sales floor, and drop them off to our venue when we set up on site.
Consignors have the freedom to price their items as they choose, including whether the item should be reduced to half price or donated at the end of the sale weekend.
L'il Angels Consignment Sale provides the location, payment processing and connection between the Seller and the Buyer. We also inspect the items brought to us to ensure quality and compliance before we open our sales floor to the public.
Our sale "pops up" on two sales floors - an empty gymnasium and a school cafeteria at our venue. In a matter of hours we build a store-like setting for families to easily shop from multiple sellers in one location over one weekend.
At the close of our event, unsold items that are marked for donation are separated from the items that should be returned to the Consignor. We do not own the items sold with us over the sales weekend, we simply keep possession of them for the weekend. Our families selling these items are entitled to receive their unsold inventory back to do as they please (send to another sale in the future, donate privately, etc).
Consignors will pick up their items at a designated time, while donations are separated between our local non profit partners and families in need. We clean up the venue and leave no trace of the sale weekend.
Over a three day period of time, our sale creates a space for families to sell their outgrown items, buy the next size they need, and support local organizations helping our community on a scale even bigger than we are.

Are kids allowed at the sale event?
Of course! Our children are the whole reason our sale exists and are always excited to meet the littles that L'il Angels stands for.
Our sale is community friendly with a positive vibe. We understand families may need to bring their children with them to shop, we only ask for a few considerations to be followed.
*Children MUST stay with you at all times
*Please help your child respect our consignor's inventory on the sales floor - do not open bagged items, do not ride on toys, do not try on clothing (we do not have a dressing room)
*Baby strollers are allowed on the sales floor, but these are subject to be inspected as part of our Loss Prevention Policy - please use the blue Ikea bags provided to hold all items you plan to purchase
*Wagons are allowed on the sales floor - please use the blue Ikea bags provided to hold all items you plan to purchase
Do I need my own shopping bags?
At this time, Bensalem Township does not restrict single use bags.
The blue IKEA bags provided at the sales floor entrance should be used to hold all items you plan to purchase while you shop.
All purchases must be kept with your receipt in the clear bags provided at check out until you have left the venue.
What is the Bag Sale on Sunday?
The Bag Sale is the last chance sale hour for any unsold items marked for donation by 12PM on Sunday when our sale event officially closes.
Unsold donated items are moved to a separate room after 12PM on Sunday. Specific items are pulled for our non profit partners prior to opening the Bag Sale.
All items left in this room will be sold "Fill-A-Bag" style for $15.00 per bag. Items too large to fit in the bag will be 1/4 of the tagged price.
🌸SPRING SALE EVENT: Sunday, March 15th - 2PM-3PM🌸
*The funds from this Bag Sale are used to provide for community outreach between our sale events.*
Do you accept donations?
At this time, L'il Angels Consignment Sale does not accept donations of items. Our non profit partnerships only accept a specific list of items as needed throughout the year - we post these needs on our social media as they arise within our community.
We do sell specific items during our sale weekend and community events to collect funds for community outreach and the "LA Diaper Fund".
ANGEL WING KEYCHAINS - $1.00 each
BEADED ANGEL PENDANTS - $3.00 each
The proceeds from these items benefit the following:
Community Outreach Certificates for families experiencing hardship, emergency situations or circumstances beyond their control who are in need of items found on our sales floor. These are kept anonymous, allowing families to shop with dignity and confidence while selecting the things that they need with the freedom of choice.
The LA Diaper Fund - this program helps provide new in package diapers to non profit organizations, local food banks and individual families who cannot afford this necessity on their own.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Debit, Credit, and mobile app payments such as Apply Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo.
Can I Volunteer without Consigning?
Yes! We love our Volunteers, whether they sell with us or not.
There is a separate link to create a "Non-Consignor Worker Account".
Can High School Students Volunteer?
YES! Students age 16 or older are welcome to volunteer with our sale event with some conditions. This is a great opportunity to complete volunteer hours for school projects, graduation requirements or youth organizations (such as Scouts, youth ministry, or youth groups).
Students attending our sale through a school or youth program must have an adult sponsor or chaperone affiliated with the school or program attending with them.
Students volunteering as an individual for volunteer hours must have a parent or guardian volunteer alongside them.
If there is any paperwork from the school or program to be completed, please be sure to bring this with you to your volunteer shift. We are more than happy to write a letter with the volunteer shifts and total hours that can be sent to you directly within a week after the sale event has closed for the season.
Please send an email to inquire for further details or to schedule a volunteer shift: molly@lilangelsconsignment.com
